Auveco 24245 piggyback oil drain plugs are designed to repair damaged or stripped M12-1.25 oil-pan drain-plug threads.
The oversize self-tapping outer plug cuts new threads into the damaged drain opening.
Once installed, routine oil changes can be completed by removing only the smaller center drain plug.
This helps avoid repeatedly removing the larger repair plug from the oil pan.
